This is a large chunk of the work I did for Les Miserables in 2012. Very fun project to work on as the director prefered painterly concepts to photographic stuff. A few more images are on my website.

Medieval Armor

Spending some lazy days in Lima. Decided to go back to one of my favourite museums here and do a sketch.

Undead

I decided to go back to a really old sketch and paint it. At the time I made the drawing, I tried to paint it up but failed miserably. It was easier now a few years later.

I did this sketch on the bus one day and thought it was worth pursuing.

Its finally gotten a little bit sunnier here in London so I got a chance to try out my new folding stool! Great for sketching anywhere and I expect to be using it a lot this summer. The above two sketches are from Hampstead Heath.

Barcelona - Arc de Triomphe

Spent this Easter in Barcelona. Its difficult to see whats going on on the screen when its so sunny but you sort of get used to it. Still, its much nicer than sketching in the english rain. Trying to get some brighter colours going instead of my usual browns.

Lunchtime sketches at the museum. Not too exciting perhaps. Im trying to get better att painting people and this is very good practice.
